Logistics Manager
- Lead logistic dept staff to ensure daily PC&L activities run smoothly support normal operation, include production and material planning, warehousing and logistics - Make sure successful QAD implementation and MRP implementation. - Be able to implement whatever need to be done for PCL related activities to meet the management's expectation. - Manage inventory levels to meet customer demands and targets while minimizing the amount of inventory. - Set up and Manage pull flow system including suppliers and customers. - Manage warehouse operations, take a leading role in continuous improvement and in the resolution of identified problem associated with warehousing and stores processes. - Participate to 8d report and actions plan associated. - Manage interface with Chinese authorities (Customs, warehouse). - Direct the preparation and execution of stock takes and organize warehousing to conduct regular cyclic stock counts. - Control and eliminate variations in forecast & actual expenditure and prepare remedies. - Ensure minimal obsolescence during product changeovers. - Implement and maintain quality procedures for warehousing to ensure ongoing conformance to all relevant quality standards. - Implement and warrant APS tools use - Coach and develop people - Within IATF16949: Manages “Logistic” processes by: - Defining and measuring objectives attainment. - Launching containment and solving actions if issues occur. - Identifying improvement opportunities and managing improvement action plans. - Respecting cost targets. - Reporting performance to company and ACW management team.
