Autoliv China is looking for an ambitious, motivated and employee with high integrity to function as a Quality Director.

The job product scope will be based on the evolving company’s needs and the applicant’s skillset. Within the product segment, he/she will be responsible for the following.

1. Monitor quality targets, initiatives and indicators to ensure compliance to quality related ALV policies, standards and reporting.

2. Kaizen/improve country wide procedures (BPR) and influence AS standards to increase value for the company.

3. Chair Critical Concern Review Team to handle and close out category A issues implement.

4. Review and improve role and responsibility of PQM for the plant’s related the product in question.

5. Coordinate with other Quality Directors throughout Autoliv China and the globe to facilitate systemic problem solving and organizational maturity.

6. Increase the level of expertise with the Autoliv staff regarding quality and statistical skills.

7. Work with plants and engineering to increase the use of FMEA and controls to compensate for failure modes in the development and lifecycle of a product.

8. Conduct “Go and See” activity to assure workplace compliance to standard work and other standards.

9. Influence the group’s culture such that it exemplifies zero defect philosophy.
