Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Legal Counsel will be a part of the Autoliv Headquarter Legal Team that is located in Stockholm. The Legal Counsel will be responsible for assisting with all legal matters relating to Autoliv’s business throughout China. The Legal Counsel will assist with all matters as necessary, with primary responsibility in the region for:

-Negotiating and drafting purchase and sale agreements, including communications with internal and external customers

-Understanding and identifying strategic approaches to solving complex business challenges while managing risk;

-Managing litigation matters and handling governmental inquiries

-Addressing human resource issues

-Addressing China customs matters

-Assisting with joint ventures, including Board meetings and business transactions

-Ensuring timely completion of all corporate governance requirements

-Assisting on intellectual property disputes.

-Assisting with product regulatory compliance

-Working closely with other functions to provide support as needed

-Advising on compliance matters and providing necessary training to relevant employees

-Supporting other members of Autoliv’s Legal Team with issues and opportunities relating to the region

-Completing other tasks as assigned by the Legal Director, China

Requirements:

-Master of Law, or above

-Strong working knowledge of PRC laws and regulations

-3-5 years of legal experience

-Strong spoken and written English skills

-Unquestionable ethics and integrity

-Proven ability to work successfully on cross-functional and cross-cultural teams

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

-Committed team player

-Closely support sales, purchasing, finance, HR and other relevant functions.

Additional Qualifications:

-Multiple language skills a plus

-Experience in automotive industry a plus

-Past experience in reputable law firms or multi-national enterprises are preferred.
